Subscriptions Galore

So, we made a pretty major change/update this morning - something we've been working on for a few weeks, and we wanted to draw your attention to it real quick.

When you joined the site, you were automatically "friended" by Mikey, RevMitcz (myself), and MusicPlusTV. In addition, you were automatically subscribed to our blogs, and to the M+ Development blog. Sort Your Friends! Impress Your Enemies!

One of the most requested features since we first launched this sucker has been the ability to sort your friends that appear on your channel. So-called "top friends".

Today - IT HAS BEEN DONE. Go now, sort some friends!

Head over to your page, scroll to your friends list and hit the "sort & edit friends" button. From there, it should be pretty self-explanatory. Just remember - changes to the order

IMPORTANT - about profile photos.

Real quick-like (cause it's Friday and you don't have time to read development blogs)...

Profile photos are no longer uploaded through a separate interface. Now, ANY photo you upload (via the multi-file uploader) can be used as your profile photo. On your content editor page, select a photo, click "edit selected" and on the resulting page you'll see a new "set as profile photo" button. The cropper works the

Let's Go Out to the (fullscreen) movies

Just wanted to give a quick little update on the state of our Flash video players, cause they've undergone a pretty major overhaul. First off - we completely rewrote the resizing code for the player, so you shouldn't see any more weird display errors regardless of the embed size. This required us to write our own code for the progress bar, the video scrub handle, and a number of other things, but it's a leaner, meaner, nicer looking player that finally overcomes a number of outstanding glitches we were being annoyed with.
