About That Survey..

posted : May 21, 2007 @ 01:19:21pm tags : details, development, survey, upcoming
You may have noticed that we've replaced the banner in our header with an internal banner requesting you to fill out our Official M+ Usability Survey. We've had some great responses thus far, and we've had a few questions thrown our way. So, we just wanted to clear up a few things..

What's the purpose of the survey?
Think of it as our report card, and you're our teacher. Fill it out as completely and honestly as you feel is necessary. We're looking for good and bad responses here - so be as brutal as you'd like.

Will my account get deleted if I'm too critical?
Absolutely not. If you genuinely think we're the epitome of suck - tell us. We won't cry.

Are the prizes real?
Yes. We've even added new prizes. In addition to the 50 iTunes $25 gift cards - we're ALSO giving away 5 badass 30GB video iPods.

If I've already filled out the survey, am I still eligible to receive the iPod?
We haven't given out any prizes yet, so yes. You're just as eligible as anyone else and your "name in the hat" (so to speak) is still valid for winning any of the available prizes.

Why don't I see the survey banner?
If you've already taken the survey, then you won't see the banner while you're logged in. It makes no sense to advertise to those who have already filled it out (and we're not allowing duplicate entries).

Again, we appreciate each and every response we've gotten so far and we're feeling very good about the survey. It's inspiring to see how you've been using the site thus far, and to see the all the very nice things you've said about us. It's kinda humbling, really.

Lastly.. we'll be rolling out some nice changes/updates to the site and its functionality in the coming days that we hope will make your time on our site even more pleasant and efficient. These are mostly minor (as far as end-user behavior goes) but our next major functionality roll-out is gonna be something quite amazing. And, we're happy to see that several people had mentioned in the survey something very similar to what we've got planned. So we're on track for good stuff.

All of that having been said - how the hell are ya? Do tell.
